Stone Walls
The world spins, always the same thing, walking these streets, what good it will bring. Life on a loop no escape in sight, overthinking every step just to do what's right. Trained to follow orders and not put in a fight, heighten your hand, keep your mouth shut tight. permission granted just to fulfill ceaseless tasks, may I use the bathroom the good boy asks. morning to night trading away your life, everyday like you're on the wrong end of a knife. distant goals no finish to be found, feel so alone yet so many around. the eyes of a god gloom over your head, doing what you're told everyday in dread. break the loop and you're deranged, you reach your goals but nothing has changed. life like a prison no where to hide, look around — that prison is where you reside.
