STONE COLD
I'm decaying inside, I'm sure you didn't know. After all, who would keep on going, knowing they were killing my soul? I've been left bereft, by all of the time that you stole. Getting through each day, is now my only real goal. I had little warmth in my world, life has long taken its toll. But I tried to share it with you, and I was left barren and cold. I'd like to ask a question, if I may be so bold. Please know that this question, isn't meant to guilt or scold. You watched me silently shatter, you seen it slowly unfold. Can you tell me how you did that, and still remained stone-cold? ~ Rachel G. Ezell ©rachelezell27
