Sticks and Stones
Sticks and stones may break my bones. Words will never hurt me. Sticks and stones may break my bones! Words will never hurt me! STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES! AND WORDS WILL NEVER HURT ME! Reciting lies is a waste of time. Because they will never change anything. Sticks and stones leave a scar which will recover quickly. Yet my scar isn't from a stick.. Or a stone... That scar was left deep... Deep into my flesh With a burning pain which made me want to cry! Yet I couldn't because that would be "crying over nothing" At least that's what my parents told me. But that "nothing" has got me crying in my room night after night after night. It never ended. The comments started small from a kindergarten boy who told me "that I was ugly" But that didn't even hurt back then But now the comments are like "Your ugly" "Your fat" "Lose some weight" "Nobody likes you" And eventually they build up. And up.. And the tower is so high that I lose my balance then fall other and shatter into a million pieces. So sticks and stones may break your bones. But words WILL always hurt you..
