How could I stay when you have done everything to push me away Time and time again, I fall for you like you ask me to Only to be left burnt and alone I open the doors to my mind and soul inviting you, hoping we could stay You slam them behind you screaming "you're not worth it" So I run, I run far away You chase me, you pull me, you suck me back in. I'm drowning, your grinning, you know you'll win How do I escape the madness of a place I have formed from dreams that turned into nightmares I need out I want you out too I fight and I fight hoping thos time you will see I'm worth it Clenching onto those fragments of gold Fooled once again This time, this time, I have learned At what cost, it feels like my sanity is all but forgotten Who I am or better yet, what am I becoming Once a shell of a women so battered and bruised Now rising above, refusing to go back Fuck it hurts, it hurts so much.
