starting again
The day breaks and the sunlight pours through my room. I hope this day will bring light to this deep, dark, gloom. Boredom, fatigue, anger, and pain This isn’t my comfort, This isn’t the same. So badly I wish that I could go back home But now here I am, starting again, alone. Get out of bed! One step at a time! How much longer will I continue to lie Starting something over can be a good thing But being lost and alone can make you rip at the seams Uncertainty, Discomfort, Trial, and Error Certainly new and scary but however, There is hope when I break from my cocoon Getting out of your safe place, for me it’s my room Looking at the world, as it truly is my oyster Diving in and not letting the waves pull me under Change is scary and hard I know that for sure But change can be good and will allow me to mature. This is an ome to myself to keep pushing through To trust myself and put faith where faith is due
