Stars
When I look at the stars, I'm hypnotised I can't look away, the same with your eyes When you see the stars, you always notice one that's brighter And when I'm with you, it just feels so much righter When you watch the stars and patterns as they aline And I know we're not meant to be friends, but it's fine I wish I wouldn't be alone every night, only accompanied by the stars When I'm with you I forget everything bad, stress, worries and wars I just wish you'd care about me more, as much as I care for the sky I admire it from sunrise to sunset and even in the night I love watching the stars as they decorate the dim space No matter where they dot, it seems like the right place I love watching the stars at night so I can have sweet dreams I wish I was known as more than just one of those teens Who does nothing all day and night, but I'm admiring the sky That's where I want to be remembered when I die But most of all, I want to be remembered in a star The brightest one that will never show the worry and war
