Stardust Memories
To the star I onced love, You were the most beautiful star Out of the countless stars out there. Though you were not the most Perfect, brightest, the most shining, You were the star I would always look for The star that once captivated my heart. My life is vast and empty Despite being full of planets and moons. Planets that laughed and cried with me Moons that I shared my secrets with Shooting stars that I made a wish with But your sole presence filled my emptiness. My life that was once dark and cold, Was filled with light and warmth. My life that was lulled by silence, Woke up upon hearing your singing. I that was empty, dark, cold, and nothing Was filled with your love and care. But even the most beautiful star Would need to go far and away For we were never in the same galaxy. Though we laughed, and cried, Danced and argued, loved and bickered We were never meant to be together. So I bid farewell, my once beautiful star And may you be merry with your life. And maybe, if the universe wills it, Maybe we could dance one last time again. Goodbye, to the star I once loved, In tuo universo, mi dilecte, pulchre lucere.
