Stardust in the Dark
She walks in silence, head held low, A shadow where the light won’t go. Her thoughts, like storms, rage wild and deep— The world too loud, she longs for sleep. She hides behind a worn-out smile, Fears she's been broken all the while. Thinks love from her could only sting, That she was never worth a thing. But oh, if she could only see What she truly means to me. She’s not a flaw, not out of place She’s stardust born from outer space. She says she’s glass about to break, But I see power in her ache. She fears she’ll hurt, but I know this: She’s made of grace the world might miss. She’s not a burden, not a scar She’s the light from a hidden star. She thinks she’s done, too lost to rise, But I see fire behind her eyes. She’ll turn her wounds into a crown, She’ll rise, not break, she won’t stay down. Let her feel, let darkness pass She’s rare, and she was built to last.
