Stand proud and tall
In shadows deep, I hide my face in shame A burden heavy, weighing on my soul My heart is wounded, and my spirit tame My failures haunt me, taking their toll From eyes that see, I turn away in fear The judgment harsh, the whispers cruel and unkind. My faults exposed, my flaws so crystal clear. I wish to leave my troubled past behind But in the darkness, glimmers a faint light A ray of hope that pierces through the shame A chance for redemption, to make things right To rise above my faults, my sins to tame So though I stumble, and though I fall I’ll face my fears, and stand proud and tall.
