Stand
A restless soul worn out by desires With dreams as thick as cedar tree standing erect no matter the winds of distraction angrily dash against it's delicate leaves and though it may go through it's seasonal change, it refuses to bend to the negativities that seems to fall as rain at the soul of it's feet. Penetrating the existence of it's very core, pounding upon the soil of it's weary ground but still it stands. You see this quite frankly expresses the nature of you and I, and very often we are bombarded and hard-pressed by life itself, but in the midst of that we stand we stand still because our very existence is deeply rooted and built upon a strong foundation, nonetheless the rain that comes to batter our very core in doing that is mainly a facilitator to our growth Life so too often applies it's heat Scorchingly burns away the weakling and creating the possibilities for us to birth a new. Truly neither the sun nor the rain last as they both come and go briefly by their own time and in their own time, but one thing for sure a rooted man will always stand. ~Dkmoore
