Spirit Lead
In the depths of my mind, a dichotomy resides Two voices whisper, one benevolent, the other divides The negative masquerades, cloaked in virtue's guise While the positive whispers softly, with gentle, loving eyes Torn between the contradictions, I'm lost in the haze Uncertain which path to take, in this internal maze My thoughts are a jumble, a kaleidoscope of strife Some make sense, others bewilder, a constant, gnawing life So I call upon You, Holy Spirit, to intervene Lead me to the sanctuary of peace, deep within my heart's recesses Chase away the shadows, the negative voice that seeks to harm And guide me, illuminate my path, with Your divine, loving form Point me to Yah, Your sacred, eternal light Speak through me, act through me, be my guiding might Take the helm of my soul, be the driver of my frame I surrender, Spirit, take over, and lead me through life's labyrinthine game In Your presence, I find solace, a refuge from life's storm A haven where love and peace converge, and my heart is reborn Lead me, Spirit, with Your gentle, loving hand I'll follow Your guidance, through this earthly landmark.
