I wish you were all a thousand miles away Each echo in my mind Is quieter than the last Sometimes my head begins to sway And my heart can no longer beat fast My teeth break as they grind Each word you say Is louder than the last At night I can no longer close my eyes And I can't help but think about the past My screaming is incomprehensible Maybe because once I open my mouth Nothing will come out, at last But you can't cry until you feel responsible And you lock the doors to my house When you roll your eyes once again Clenching your fists like you can't prove it I can't help but feel like I'm last Like you want to lock me in my pen And you know my will enough to remove it
