Speaking in Poems

Whenever I sit in therapy And hit a wall with my emotions My therapist asks me to say it in a different way She tells me to write poetry to speak Then suddenly my "Weird" emotion Turns into "I am scared to be scared" "I love her and hate that I can't hate her" Whenever I sit in the chair in that little room I speak in the only way I know I speak in poems
