SoUl tie
I tasted you like a quiet sin, A sweetness wrapped in shadowed skin. Now silence burns where laughter stayed, Your echo haunts the beds I’ve made. You’re not here, but still I shake, Each breath I take, a new heartbreak. I crave the touch I shouldn't need, Like a drug that makes my spirit bleed. I starve for peace, yet feed on pain, Calling your name like it’s rain. But all that falls is memory’s dust, And dreams that turn my heart to rust. This tie, unseen, still pulls me close, A tether woven deep, morose. But I will rise through aching night, Undo the knot, reclaim the light. No longer chained by what we were, My soul will breathe, my vision clear. And though I tremble, I will stand— Healing begins by my own hand.
