soul
My soul it feels as if someone has cut it and poured salt in it Constantly burning Constantly bleeding Never healing Everytime it starts to scab I pick at it over and over till it hurts again Till I see all the blood of the man I saw as a brother running down the road Till I smell the air of that night Till I hear my screams once again Never letting the memory go Never healing the wound Always bleeding onto everyone and everything Afraid of my demons but I invited them over for tea They cut me open once again pouring salt into my open wounds
