Sorrow
In the darkness of my mind, Lost and broken, left on my own, I am a prisoner of my own thoughts, Trapped in a world made of stone, The weight of sorrow is crushing me, A heavy burden inside my chest, I am struggling to breathe, Consumed by my own misery, My tears that fall are tiny drops of pain, A river made up of hurt and despair, Drowning in my own pit of sorrow, Sorrow that will drive your mind insane, I pray for the light to shine on through, I am stuck with no hope of my heart feeling whole, Sorrow that is sucking the life out of my soul, Please chase away the sorrows that make me feel blue, I sit in silence, waiting fo the darkness, Alone with my mind raacing, and my eyes welling up with tears, Lost in misery, my soul is for the taking, Trapped in what feels like limbo with darkened fears, I long for the day when sorrow will depart, I can finally breathe without feeling its grip, But until then, i will carry this heavy load, I hope sorrow does not make my soul explode.
