Soon
I thought I would be trapped in this rocky abyss.... I thought there would be silence and something to miss. My heart would grow stale I would slowly turn pale I would lose myself in this dark hall I hoped and longed for a chance. Desperate desire for one last dance. To be held, to be loved in a heart where I would never be enough. No vain beauty No loyalty no sacrifice would ever suffice. Somehow I find myself cresting this hill. This treacherous climb will soon avail. I am stronger and wiser and carefully attuned to this beautiful roadmap provided by You. What once felt so daunting as though I would faint has lead me to a place where I can feel safe. The road has been long and so painfully straight but I can see that you're with me in this path you create. I can't see the sun yet, it's not quite time. But I know that soon it will shine. Whatever may come, whatever your plan -- My whole world is in Your hands.
