Something I Never Knew
Something I never knew when I made that wish, I thought the story ended at eight. But time moves on, life doesn’t wait, And now there are thirteen. I never imagined five more would arrive, Never foresaw the shift, the change, Never knew how much could break When I thought I'd already lost enough. I never knew how silence could grow, How everything would turn so numb, How memories would blur like fading light, That's something I never knew When I made that wish.
