I just want someone to understand me, But all I find is silence, heavy and deep. People show ego over the smallest things, Yet, it's their past wounds that make them weep. Let me cry, let me sob, let me break, Let me pour out the storm inside. It’s hard to believe I hurt someone so much, And now, I carry the weight of that tide. Hey, why does this always happen to me? Why does kindness feel like a crime? I never meant to cause any pain, Yet, I'm the one drowning every time.
