someone I know
universe whispered a lore so rare , a soul born from death's dark hair, gifted with beauty's cursed boon, one gaze can make hearts swoon. truths seem black, the lies dyed white, beneath ashen clouds, the heart takes flight, as pages turn, the thirst grows deep, under moon's pale light the ravens weep. life—a matchstick kissed by blue fire, to live—the body's twisted desire, to love— an innocent child's plea, Yet all that was loved was never to be. True intentions are never to be known, What meets the eye is all that's shown, The happy birds nest in memories old, Chirping lores that remain untold. Amidst dusty diaries, the soul lays bare, Life is known to never play fair, Time flies by in thoughts profound, What was sought was never found. With bare hands a home was made, Footprints left behind start to fade, company of mortals- deep rooted hate, Who would believe such a cruel fate? Who ends this lore of the unknown? Who glorifies the torment that was borne? Who sees through their flesh and bone? Will their path to eternal sleep ever be shown?
