Someday
Someday There was a time I had it all. I woke early, with no heaviness in my chest, no aching in my heart. I didn’t wish for storms. I wasn’t hiding from the light. The voices around me felt warm — not sharp, not distant. And inside me, everything was calm. Everything was whole. I truly thought it would stay. But I was wrong. It all slipped away, quiet as breath, quick as a blink. I still blame myself — for not seeing the cracks, for thinking peace was permanent. And then, just like that, it was over. But I’m still thankful. I had it once. Everything I ever wanted. And still… I wish I could hold it again. Just once more. Someday.
