Somber Sun
--- Night turns into day; a new dawn rises on the horizon. But this one is different. Rain has already awakened your spirit before the sun is ever seen, and the stars have hidden their faces behind the clouds. The sun comes filtered through the looming storm. The colors are different— deeper, more somber, an echo, a mirror of sadness. Mourning settles deep in the heart, sadness in flesh and bone. And yet the sun still rises. It finds a way through the hollows and makes everything beautiful. That is what hope does, my friend. So remember hope as you remember the sun: it is faithful, it is beautiful, it endures. ---
