Solance among his heart
The words he spoke, so sweet and soft, Yet laced with thoughts that made me scoff. Uncomfortable, I felt displaced, His feelings for me all over-faced. With heart in hand, he confessed his love, But the things he said, they made me shove. I could not share in his affections, As his feelings were too explicit. His love, so real, yet so misunderstood, I felt a pang, deep in my blood. For his love was intense and bold, But I knew deep down, it wasn't true. And as I let go of his affection, I knew in my heart, it wasn't my fault.
