Solace in passing
When I got to hold you I knew I had lost you before the woes started But you didn't leave at once, you left so much lying around I knew well enough but to think you would leave with wild scars So I stared and kept lasting memories of you They would stay a lifetime but not you Not the peace you brought and I didn't care well enough Not the solace I called doom When I got to hold you,i Iet my mind travel To see you in bits was to hate myself to love you,a wish I could only dream of But I do hope when the invites come you honor it But whatever your choice is,I would respect it
