Solace by the Sea
when shadow creep and burdens weigh, I flee to where the wild waves play. Alone, I stand on shifting sand, the oceans roar, my silent hand. It whispers secret to the breeze, of storms that rage and find their ease. no words, no eyes, just me and tide, where heartache hides and hope abides. each crash of foam, a cleansing cry, washing away the reasons why. In solitude, the vast blue calls, And mends the fractures in my walls. So every time I'm not okay, I turn to sea, and fade away. The ocean wait's, my steadfast friend, where broken hearts can start to ment.
