So when my time comes
In shadows deep, where silence softly reigns, My soul awaits the call to journey on, Through misty veil, where light eternal wanes, I'll leave behind this world that I have shone. No fear shall linger in my steadfast heart, For fate's embrace I'll meet with open eyes, In death's cold grasp, I'll play my final part, And bid farewell to earthly woes and ties. Though mortal coil unravels at its seams, And life's sweet song falls silent on my ear, I know that death is not the end, it seems, But merely a transition, nothing to fear. So when my time has come, I'll face it true, With courage strong and heart alight anew.
