so unlike my mother
When I am old old as on soul and body I shall wear a smile on my wrinkled face with no shame so unlike my mother when I am old I shall have long grey hair and wear it in a braid wherever I go I will have pearls and strings threaded in it and it shall look strange and wild When I am old I shall wear dresses and Jewellery that does not match and the children on the street shall smile at me and say mommy, look, a witch! And I shall smile at them and give them treats they will not dare to eat When I am old I shall live in a small house with a garden and ten cats I know by name I shall have an armchair by a fireplace and tons of photoalbums When I am old I shall speak to my plants dance in the rain and tell my grandchildren tales about my life I shall show them the photographs and smile through skin wrinkled through experience a mind heavy with memory and eyes sparkling with wisdom and joy When I am old I shall have lived and shall live so unlike my mother
