So far from our future

i planned our day were we would share my last name I thought of all the ways I could stop all your pain I struggled almost everyday i wanted to be the knight to your queen but my armor was dull, dirty, and fully chipped away I understand now how far we truly are now once we talked of children running around and that we should write there names down those nights brought such a light to my life that truly still haven't burnt out we thought of every last scenario of our life but I could not save you I fought and I fought yet all I truly could do was watch as you felt my love was misplaced that I should seek another how could I do that i promised forever That's when I realized We were so far from our future seconds to minutes and on to hour's truly time goes on faster than ever
