Snow Day
The snow encasing all the dead grass Is the only thing brightening my day God knows it wasn't Sunday Mass What will I do when that snow melts? I guess I'll just say goodbye And because of every feeling I've felt I know I won't have to lie For now, I'll play until I'm numb I'll try to distract myself From the fear I'm actually dumb When I'm older I'll move to a city Where white is the only color I see I'll make my own little community Where I can finally be free For now, I'll glide over the remaining ice Slip and scrape my hand, but it's okay Even though it hurts, it's still nice I'll have something to remember this day
