Smoke Break
The glow of the cherry between my own eyes. Looking at it, looking crossed, creates that small extra breath of humor. Lighting up my face, in a literal sense. In the dark, I am orange. Or red. What you see most fit. Then the smoke, the exhale. Watered eyes, coughing. A relaxing and needed discomfort to gently ride away from this reality. I'll be back in ten...
