Smile
THE BRIGHT SMILE THAT CAN ONLY BE SEEN IN LIGHT The way she smile only when the sun finds her, But when the shadows come, Everything turns black, The moon, pretending to be the sun, Was hiding all along, Her smile fades, Everything goes silent, The laughter were nowhere to be heard, The way her mind flood with questions "Is my best still not enough?", "What if i dissapoint them?", "What would they think if i fail?" Every word echoes in her own world, Each one cutting deeper and deeper, like being stabbed by invisible knives The ache of never hearing the word " You're enough.", " You did well.", "You're not dissapointing us." Her smile only blooms when someone finds her, When someone understands her, But when will that someone come? She's there for everyone, But who is there for her? The wall who became her silent buddy, Her cat who gives her comfort, Or the pillow that always wipes her tears? She needs a person to lean on, But where is that person? -THE END. -MA. JEYANA SOL R.
