Slowly Dying
Slow dying, Because I know you’re lying But I remain quiet. Happy on the outside, Slowly breaking on the inside. Here we go again. The same cycle, The same ache. I thought it would be different with you. This time, I believed it could be real. But I guess I was wrong. Now I’m questioning my self-worth. Am I enough? Am I ever enough? Why does this always happen to me? Why does love feel like punishment Wearing a pretty face? I’m tired of hoping, Tired of pretending, Tired of being the one Who stays silent While I slowly disappear.
