I spend more time at school In a day Than sleeping in a week So afraid of what I’ll see When I close my eyes I’ve had enough flashbacks I don’t need to relive The moment I most dread It kills me to know I let you get away with it I should have spoken up But I was just a kid How was I supposed to know How broken I would be As the memory comes to haunt me If I only knew How quickly I’d fall apart I would have said something To hold against you I had the proof Just not the knowledge
