Sleepless And Sorrowful Night:
The moon casts shadows on my wall A lonely night, with no peaceful call My eyes, wide open, searching for rest But sorrow's weight upon my chest The world outside is dark and still Yet, my mind is racing with troubled will Thoughts swirl, a jumbled, woeful sea As I lie awake, lost, and unable to be free The night air whispers secrets in my ear Of all the things that bring me fear The darkness closes in, a suffocating shroud As I toss and turn, my heart worn out The hours tick by, slow and cold As I wait for dawn, for morning's gold But until then, I'm trapped in this night A prisoner of sorrow, without a light.
