sleep or ponder
Usually it's nights like these that I would have so much to say, so much to write but not tonight, tonight I'm just trying to hold myself together and allow myself to accept that you're no longer mine. But you could be, right? If I say the right things, look at you the right way, everything would go back to how it used to be? I was happy, you made me happy, and I thought I made you happy too. So why, oh why, did it have to end? Unless it didn't, did it? Did what we had really come to an end? Or was it just too much for you and you couldn't handle the commitment? But you still want it, you want the attention. My attention, my love and I, of course, still want to give it to you. You're still the only girl I love, the one that stands out amongst the crowd. Because I'm a man of my word and I promised to always love you and that I would never leave. The same promise you made, when you broke it you broke our bond as well. And yet we still attract.
