Sleep in the snow
There up in the cold up north I had no energy to venture forth as, shaking from my weary blight, that night I fought to stay alight. I had passed out on the cold hard snow, no energy left to move or go, and little did my heart yet know, how quick said snow would melt below. My weight was heavy, but burden light. A homeless man to all who'd sight. A single soul lost in the white, would burden few on winters night. "It's his fault" many might claim, but his mother would never sleep the same. If winters claws had snuffed his flame, how many would recall his name? But that's all lost on the man in the snow. Who's heavy heart cares not to know. Who craves the death, but fears below. as he desperately waits on the suns warm glow.
