slain love
Indigenous to the soil that clings between my toes the brackish clay of butter fate when no fall seed was seen and in an effort to evade the casualties of war I will no longer stand and repent a love unworthy of dying for. and as saints and sinners lay slain in bloody battle crowns I will not remember which side was hallowed grounds. and beseeched beneath the anguish of my heart that cried in vain I'll bury you beneath my own bones a victim of the love that my own hand had slain.
