Sky Above Me
The burns of the day crawling up my back and rolling off my chest. They sting at first, but the thick callous sets in quickly. I know when my skin needs the wetness from your sky— a quick delivery to an onset of spiritual flying, hoisting my wings and fashioning my strength in the altitudes of the riveting stars. Sustain me, and render me whole. I find myself pure and unintentionally happy. Here I find myself integral to my existence and free from earthly error.
