So many people have touched my skin My mother at her worst  My father after he filled his thirst  So many people have touched my skin From abusive attacks  That left bruises and scars  To a pat on my backs  For getting good stars So many people have touched my skin  A kiss on the cheek  A man when we were alone  He called it “Hide and Seek” But if I said “no” he would use the TONE So many people have touched my skin A family taking me in To an office asking where I’ve been So many people have touched my skin A boy with a kiss on my lips Pulling me in by my hips So many people have touched my skin With a warm embrace  Many here and gone without a trace So many people have touched my skin  Head to Toe I must know  How many people have touched your skin?
