Skin
I hate the way my eyes look at my skin, They see another thing to ruin To slice and burn, I want to rip open the curtains and let the blood storm out. My skin doesnt feel like mine It's just a shell, an empty carcass My soul is soffocating in it I feel like a gas chamber My own brain trying to kill me I glance at my translucent wrists In a trance looking at my tempting veins They would be so easy to open So easy to die. Why? Im fighting a death match with my thoughts Thoughts that so badly want me dead To leave this messed up world behind I just want to live To live without constanly wanting to die To live without the constant reminder that I could just die So easily A slit, A swerve, A jump, A bath, Its too easy and im painfully aware of that, It haunts me every waking second, I live with the fear of me killing myself, And that fear just makes it worse.
