Sister
water on the floor and all over the sink. I wash my face and wash away the salty tears. I scrub so hard it hurts to blink. I listen to my father drink all his beer. oh how lucky he must be. he can drink away his pain. but I'm stuck here listening to the rain. to the sounds of my mom crying. to the sounds of the hospital monitor blinking watching my sister slowing dieing. we miss you, I don't know why you left us. and when I found you on the floor. I wish I never would have saw those cuts. I really wish I would have been there for you. that's all you wanted. now I'm watching my friends with their sisters. I wish we could have bonded. now I sit here in your room looking down at my feet I raise the gun up to my head my heart skips a beat. with one move I'd be dead. but I couldnt do it. I set the gun down and curl up in a ball on your bed.
