SINFUL PRAYER
Dear God above, I kneel tonight, With trembling heart A burden grows I cannot flee, A longing not meant to be. Her laugh, her eyes, her gentle care, The way she’s always simply there. I feel at peace when she is near, Yet fear this love You won't accept I've prayed for strength to look away, To feel the way I’m taught to say. But every time, her arms feel right, A harbor in my endless night. So fix me, Lord, if I am wrong, If this is not where I belong. If this be sin, then let it be, Yet still, I crave her arms for me. Yet if her touch is heaven’s glow, Help me accept what I don’t know. I leave my heart within Your hands, To guide me where Your wisdom stands. For now, I’ll rest in her presence Amen.
