Sin
I don't understand this world, And most importantly, I don't understand people How highly do you have to think of yourself to not care about other's rights? How selfish do you have to be to just randomly ruin people's nights? Why is me just being and existing so bothering to you? I don't even know your name! Yet my existence is a threat to you? Though all you want is fame. And then when I'm being myself, suddenly you're so religious! That's a sin! Oh, you know now what sins are, how prodigious! But is it not a sin when you gulp down that bottle of gin? And you really think your love is greater than mine, But isn't it your kind that's molesting children, attacking women, And still dodges the gun? This world is weird, being filled with sins, they try to tell us we're sinners But you know what? I'd rather be a sinner that way than a heartless killer I'll burn in hell? If you say so I'll also see what type of God you worship that punishes me for loving and praises you for killing So if I'm a sinner, Respectfully, you're an even bigger one as you let the world burn in front of your eyes and still smile From my book "The Pain of Existence"
