simple heartbreak

You gave me the love I needed so much, And the respect that meant everything to touch. Now that you're gone, I feel completely alone, That old loneliness is driving me crazy, down to the bone. I truly thought our connection was special and real, I believed we were always meant to share and to heal. Even though we're apart, I miss you dearly every day, And I miss the beautiful comfort of having you stay. Is she feeling this sadness for me, just the same way? It's a question I ask, but no one can truly say.
