Silver in the Rain
Flowing in a stream of light Her silver hair glistens And at the sight of her smile my mind stills to listen To the words of beauty that she speaks And the sound of lashes batting against soft skin The feel of her is out of reach Her gaze is hypnotising, to say the least And as we paddle through the river coated in teardrops of the rain My heart pounds against my chest, soft and heavy as the pain The pain I feel rushing through my veins Hot and gentle, burning red The simple pain of knowing this is all pretend
