SILENT VICTORY
I gave you my heart with hands that shook, Built a castle from every tear you mistook. You left with silence, no parting song— But I learned that quiet can still make you strong. Your absence carved out space I never knew, Room for the love I owed myself too. The nights were cold, the mornings bare, Still I stood in the ruins, breathing air. You called it failure, I called it grace— To walk alone, but still keep pace. Not every ending needs to burn, Some losses teach, some failures turn. You were the storm, but I stayed whole, Found peace in the ashes, stitched my soul. You were the lesson, not the doom— A wilted rose still leaves perfume. So though you're gone, and we are through, I didn’t lose—I just outgrew.
