Silent Struggles
The nights were dark and cold But she felt colder as she cried She was the girl who never Showed off Her lips sealed shut Her hair in a loose ponytail If she was a color She'd be grey Grey is a shadow Like her, trailing behind Trying to keep up But never go up front Grey compliments everyone Except herself Helps anyone who is hurt But will ignore the pain she has She can be dangerous when she's hurt She could easily destroy anything But instead She ruins herself She never expresses her feelings But when she does She finds it easier To say then through jokes She acts like she is okay And doesn't want anyone to worry No one seems to see Her silent struggles
