"Silent Storm "
"Silent Storm" There’s a war inside I cannot see, A silent storm that swallows me. It rages loud behind my eyes, Yet no one hears the thunder cries. I smile and nod, say "I’m okay," While shadows steal the light of day. My thoughts, a maze with no way out, Each step I take, consumed by doubt. I wear a mask to play the part, But cracks run deep across my heart. The weight I carry, no one knows— It hides beneath my calm repose. But still I rise, though winds may howl, With trembling hands and heavy soul. Each breath a fight, each day a test, To seek some peace, to find some rest. One day, perhaps, the clouds will clear, And I’ll stand tall without the fear. Till then I’ll fight, and softly say: "I’m still alive. I’m here. I’ll stay."
