Silent Scream
Silent scream Pain from your words has scarred my mind. You like to break me down, so I'll seek a way to repair it. Stained memories haunt me One of them is of you telling me to fly until I reach my happiness, only to take the bullet to my back, shooting me down. I can't go too far, can't become too brave in that open sky. That makes me cold, right? Trader of promises? Heat in my chest is filled with rage. I scream a silent scream. Because YOU CAN'T HEAR IT! You pretend to let me go with the tightest grip. I don't understand your love. It has me in crutches. But I know I will heal my damage in time. I will be fine. But not you. Time to let me go. You have other birds waiting for their cages.
