Silent Longing ( Her Pov)
In the quiet of the morning, I slipped away, A lingering whisper in the bustling scene, With every heartbeat, I felt the fray, Yet no one knew the weight of what I meant. I wore a smile, painted bright for the crowd, But inside I held a tempest, fierce and wild, Our laughter danced, so vibrant, so loud, While shadows of doubt left my spirit riled. Each coffee shared was a moment embraced, Yet I felt the pull of paths I couldn't tread, In the comfort of warmth, I found a displacement, A longing for freedom that filled me with dread. I brushed my hair, a habit laced with fear, The gentle strokes concealed my silent plea, I wanted to stay, yet the longing grew clear, What I sought was beyond what we'd come to be. As seasons changed, the pull became strong, The whispers of wanderlust tugged at my core, I vanished like a ghost, where I felt I belonged, Leaving behind echoes, and memories to pour. Now, in the stillness, I find myself adrift, The coffee shop buzz, a haunting refrain, I wonder if you still feel the rift, As I wander alone, burdened by my chain. I hope you find peace where we once shared dreams.
